Congratulations to our Shane Magee who picked up the Electrical Installation award at the IrelandSkills National Competition. The competition, one of Irelands most prestigious events in the crafts calendar, attracts the best trainee crafts and tradespeople from around the country.
Shane won the award based on his competence and ability to complete test projects to the highest international standards, under pressure from fixed time schedules and a requirement for precise dimensions and controls.
Shane attended Clifferna N.S, Cootehill Comprehensive School and commenced his apprenticeship in June 2011 with Callaghan Electrical.
Commented on the award, founder and CEO at Callaghan Electrical, Kieran Callaghan commented, “we are all delighted for Shane – it is a great recognition of his commitment and skill. As a company, we are committed to inhouse training and development for all staff to ensure the highest possible standards and it is great to see how companies like us in Cavan are producing the highly trained and skilled staff”.
